Introducing “The Perfect Attendance Box”
During the 2024-2025 school year, Box of Maine is teaming up with Count ME In to launch “Everyone Counts,” a statewide program designed to incentivize everyday attendance in all Maine elementary schools. This initiative not only benefits students and schools, but also offers valuable opportunities for businesses to partner and make a positive impact.
Here’s how it works:
- Classrooms with perfect attendance any class day during the month will earn an entry
into a drawing. A classroom can earn multiple entries a month! - At the end of each month, a random drawing will be held to select a winning
classroom(s). - Winning classrooms will receive fun and educational rewards, like new recess materials,
engaging classroom activities, or a collection of books.
Why are we doing the Perfect Attendance Box?
- We believe that consistent attendance fosters a strong foundation for
academic achievement. - Regular attendance strengthens positive relationships and a sense of belonging.
- Investing in education lays the groundwork for a healthy and
successful future for our state’s children and, ultimately, our communities.

Everyone Counts Attendance Celebration Entry Form
Complete this form each day everyone in your class is present for the entire school day. (All students and teachers). Teachers, please use your school email to submit entries. We will post the winning classroom(s) on social media at the beginning of each month and email the teacher who submitted the entry. *If your class is not together for the day just a chunk of the day, please be in touch before completing this form!
